I've always liked chocolate cake, especially 'devil's food' cake. When I was a child, I always thought that I was getting away with some sort of taboo by eating something called devil's food, and I suppose it just grew on me.

Ohh, devil's food! How bold! I have a hard time getting through rich cakes like that without a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Do you like yours a la mode or do you prefer it by itself?
