It doesn't have to be. We can both lose, I'm pretty good at that.

Ah, this is nothing new for me. I've been flitting through dreams for centuries. Eons. Uncountable spans of time. I've seen it all, you know? Anxieties, memories, fantasies. It all starts to follow a pattern after a while and the overlay might be weird but the underside is totally predictable.

The weird thing to me is that nobody seems to be assuming a person who can create phantasmagorical delights can also make horrific nightmares. I mean, I haven't seen anybody suggesting it.
