I don't know, sometimes I just get to thinking about things and ... ugh. Forget it. [Even someone who was usually so carefree, occasionally had his doubts] I can't believe there actually are people that just get paid to talk.. but hey both of those sound like I could work independently.. [Let's face it, he doesn't enjoy having an authority figure over him]

[It seemed like their conversation was wrapping up to him, so Ryuji was just tapping in a "later" when he felt something on his shoulder. Emitting a gasp, and jumping to his feet he whipped around to face her]

Gah! You shouldn't sneak up on people like that! Were you just standing behind me the whole time?!

Just stealth-ing around like some mad pro! ( she smirks. ) But nah, not the whole time ... just right now, actually. Miss me? 'Course you did!

Well, only if we're seen as a threat, right? ( he's always been the one to say things out loud and at inconvenient times. after all, it was largely because of him that makoto found them out. but! they've both been talking about things out loud more than they should. she shakes her head. ) I haven't, you?

Oh, you're right! I forgot that part. This trying to be the leader stuff is way harder than Ren makes it look.

"Obvious," is like, not the term I'd use... the next choices would definitely be like Futaba-chan or Makoto-chan. ( she shrugs. but they are also nowhere to be found, so, they're kind of stuck with either herself or ryuji because ef fox, noir and violet, apparently. ) The leader needs to know shit though. But we're both not that great at this shit. Lets just agree to be partners for now or something...

Yeah well, have you seen either of those two here? [Just pointing that out, Ann- though both of them had figured that out already.] You make it sound like I'm a total idiot. [You said it buddy, not her. When she throws herself into that pile he eases up a bit] I guess that works for now. It's not like we have a direction or anything anyway. Not at all, but, I haven't seen anyone around here I recognize, honestly. ( yeah, yeah, she knows. she's just pointing out that they'd be the next in line, okay? gosh. ) You said it, not me. Besides, it might be nice to do some Phantom Thievery without other people around telling us what to do for a minute, right? We can be all roguish and junk like Noir was with Mona for a while as Beauty Thief!

( there's a light blush that touches her cheeks. one that she's definitely going to deny being there if it's brought up. ) Y, Yeah...! At least we've got each other to rely on in whatever this mess is.

( that's fair. there are several people she doesn't want to have to see from back home eeeever again but she does sort of feel a bit down that their friends aren't around. she is, however, happy that ryuji is around so she's not alone. ) What?
