Things often become a bit stranger with the Outsider around, it seems.
The building, located in the Twisted City, was supposedly a cafe based on the sign outside, but the interior was not what one would expect a cafe to look like at all. Windows not visible from the exterior opened up to a broad view of an ocean not accessible from the outside, meaning that this endless expanse was all located within. And yet, in both versions of "outside", both the outside that was out and the outside that was in, it was pouring. Dark, wicked skies overhead clapped with lightning and gloomy clouds cried their eyes out over the night below while the Outsider sat by the fire, quietly sipping tea and telekinetically playing chess with themself. They look as if they are somewhere else.
