There's something tragically hilarious in John trying to get him in to real clothes so soon after getting back here, but it feels like the part of him that would know how to put that into words really is just that damned tired, and little wonder considering how much energy he'd put into holding all of himself together for Gray.

"Emotions," he replies, with a weak, tired laugh, before he starts pulling the shirt over his head. "Some of the stuff getting whipped up's influencing 'em, but seems the rain's been taking cues. And yes, before you ask," he's not ashamed to use the excuse of putting on pants to keep his gaze from John's for at least a moment, "I've had more than one experience that proves it's not just coincidence. Real fun thing for a place that takes symbolism so seriously."

Well, not his best work, but at least it feels like the back-up personality has found one of the light switches again.
