If he weren't working even more than usual to keep so many things locked away (and that's saying something, considering), Jack would probably try to at least make some kind of joke about stripping down to his undershirt right here and letting the warming rain soak that through. But as it is, right now--after working so hard to keep from falling apart when Gray needed someone to hold him together--Jack finds that particular personality feeling like it's about to collapse in on itself entirely. And there's no way in hell The Captain can take charge of things right now even if he wanted to, which he really doesn't.
So he leaves himself entirely in John's hands, feeling a tiny bit of the tension leaving his shoulders when the solid, warm weight falls on them and just gives a short nod before reflexively kissing back as he lets John lead him inside, the smallest fraction of the weight that's suddenly dropped onto his psyche dropping away with each step.
