"WAUGH" Beatrix leaps into the air like a startled cat, but manages to somehow catch herself in midair. Literally. She's now hovering in place upside-down. Completely still. Not even doing the bobbing thing. It's a little eerie, actually.

She takes a moment to gather her senses and figure out what just happened. The guy currently in front of her somehow managed to sneak up behind her despite the vast expanse of nothingness in every direction. Admittedly, she knew she could get tunnel vision when she did stuff, so maybe it wasn't that improbable.
